The
Redbirds
The Redbirds began playing back in the summer
of 2004 as a side project for John Fabke and Paul Kienitz from
their work in the award-winning Nob Hill Boys bluegrass band.
This freewheeling setting gives Paul and John an opportunity
to draw from their repertoire of traditional bluegrass and oldtime
fiddle tunes and songs. The 'birds also occasionally feature
special guest musicians or callers when they are playing for
dances or performances.
Their music is tight, traditional and full of down-home fun.
